Our Executive Directors
Under Paul’s leadership Opus Trust Marketing has seen rapid growth and is one of the UK’s leading transactional communications providers. With over 20 years’ experience and widely acknowledged as a key influencer in the mailing industry, Paul is a Non-Executive Director of the Mail Users’ Association and sits on the board of the Royal Mail Strategic Mailing Partnership.
Paul has a track record of driving efficiencies for customers through innovation, document redesign and re-engineering. He is a key player in pushing the industry forward to develop enhanced customer communications experiences. Working closely with Royal Mail for several years, Paul led Opus Trust Marketing to be the first mail producer to go live with Mailmark® in both retail and wholesale in 2014 and created our own postal service TRUSTPOST® .
Rob has ultimate responsibility for Production, IT, Document Services and E-services. Rob works with all department heads to ensure the day to day operation runs smoothly and in accordance with highly regulated business guidelines and strategies.
With a background in direct marketing, Rob understands the transactional communications market inside out. Rob is a PRINCE2 practitioner credited with setting up the Project Management function and delivering ISO22301 Business Continuity Management at Opus. Rob leads the investment strategy for new technologies and champions process improvement and cost reduction.
Mark is responsible for sales strategy and leads a team of specialists with a detailed understanding of specific markets including the energy, water, financial services, construction and retail sectors. With an eye firmly on identifying customer needs he is proficient in the development of bespoke service solutions.
Mark has an impressive background in critical print, electronic communications and data acquisition; and is an expert in data driven solutions that drive customer engagement.
Simon supports the strategic and operational development of the business. With overall responsibility for the Finance, Human Resource and Compliance functions within Opus Trust Marketing, Simon is also Finance Director for the Opus Trust Group. A Chartered Accountant with over 20 years’ experience, Simon has held a number of senior financial and management positions within wholesale, software technology and charitable environments.
Notably, Simon oversees the provision of grant funding for environmental, social welfare and arts projects through the Peter De Haan Charitable Trust.
Our Heads of Department
Katie leads the Client Services team that manage and grow client accounts, devise client strategy, deliver objectives and develop long lasting client relationships. Katie and her team have a record of delivering projects successfully, implementing local and global processes and managing the on-boarding process. Clients working with Katie’s team are in safe hands for sure.
John is a fully qualified IRCA registered lead auditor for ISO Standards 27001 and 9000. A Quality and Information Management Specialist John has worked with numerous blue chip organisations. John applies the principles of Lean and Six Sigma and is skilled in risk analysis, business law and compliance regulations in a number of industries including Financial Services.
Stephen manages the IT function, including strategic development focussing on process improvement to deliver faster, better solutions for customers. Stephen oversees IT compliance ensuring that effective service delivery is achieved. An advocate and implementer of well-structured agile teams, Stephen applies lean methodologies to gain maximum productivity.
Diane is a practitioner of programme and project delivery in multi-channel environments. Charged with the management and delivery of all client projects, Diane is a detail hunter and ensures that every project is researched thoroughly before going live. She leads a high performance project team ensuring that all projects run on time and within budget.
Steve is a highly experienced document systems and technical solutions architect. With responsibility for document development and composition, Steve leads his team of specialists to deliver accurate communications that are engaging, cost-effective and compliant with industry regulations, whilst ensuring that all output remains consistent with our clients’ corporate branding.
Richard oversees the manufacturing process and ensures that all work is delivered on time and meets exceptional quality standards. With a background in Print, IT Development, Transactional Mail and Direct Mail, Richard is highly experienced in the implementation of Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) and Lean Manufacturing methodologies.
Rob leads our team of print management experts who specialise in sourcing and delivering bespoke print solutions and printed products. A mixture of disciplines, our Print Management service includes procurement, storage, stock control and distribution of a huge variety of marketing and communications material, providing cost savings and a managed service for our clients.
Placing our customers at the heart of everything we do, Gail and her team ensure that we talk the customers’ language and position Opus Trust Marketing as a leading light in the transactional communications industry. Responsible for marketing strategy, planning and delivery, alongside internal communications, Gail is a qualified practitioner in direct, digital and traditional marketing techniques.
Janine is a Chartered Member of the CIPD and has overall responsibility for our personnel, recruitment, talent management and training strategy. Her team ensures that we attract and retain a motivated and highly skilled workforce. Our staff training programme is second to none with all employees receiving training or working towards professional qualifications.
Zahir is a Certified Chartered Accountant with an ACCA Fellowship and is responsible for the operational management of the finance team. Working alongside the Finance Director to develop strategies to support the financial goals of the business, Zahir plays a vital role in managing the resources that enable our continued growth and investment.
