E-payslips: our simple, cost-effective standalone solution

Here at Opus Trust Marketing, we’ve improved our electronic payslip service after recognising an increased demand for self-serve payroll solutions.

E-payslips is a simple, secure and cost-effective service which enables businesses to distribute payslips electronically. With employers having a legal obligation to provide employees with a payslip before or on their payday, some businesses continue to print and post payroll documents whilst others have moved to electronic distribution. Research from the Chartered Institute of Payroll Professionals (CIPP) demonstrates the number of businesses using electronic methods for distributing payslips rose by 57% between 2014 and 2016, and electronic methods are becoming more widely accepted*.

In line with this trend, we have updated our e-payslips offering. Developed in-house by our own team of specialists, the service provides employees with easy access to an electronic version of their payslip, as well as other payroll documents such as P60s and P11Ds, via both iOS and Android apps or online, depending on their preference. When there’s a new payroll document to view, employees receive a notification by email and can also print and export their information.

Functioning as a standalone product, our e-payslip solution doesn’t require the usual investment in a full suite of communication services meaning e-payslips are quick to deploy and may not require any capital expenditure. Moving to e-payslips provides a fast, digital solution without the need to upgrade your payroll or HR systems: we’ll simply use existing payslip data to produce the e-payslips and manage the whole distribution process for you. Our e-payslips service also has the flexibility to include additional employee information within the portal, such as benefits, bonus and pension details or Christmas pay arrangements, with the payslip template tailored to match corporate branding.
